Joining instructions for new members

GMS provides the facility for new families to sign up to Medway RFC direct, including registering minis/youths family members as players.

Please note that Minis and Youth players may not be members of the club in their own right. Instead, the responsible parent or guardian must join the club as the family lead and add the player/s to their family membership. This is because only the responsible adult can agree to the club’s terms and conditions, and that agreement is on behalf of their whole family.

The payment of memberships at the clubhouse is restricted to genuine cases where payments cannot be paid online via debit/credit card via GMS.

SmartCards will be issued to newly paid up members as soon as practical. These entitle members to a 10% discount on non-promotional items at the club kitchen and bar. The Membership Secretary will post these to the lead family member at their residential address as listed in GMS.
