Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our club, whether they are coaching the players, managing the players, helping out around the clubhouse, helping with the day to day management and running of the club and it’s facilities, communucations, arranging fixtures and festivals or helping with rugby development at school level. If you think you can help…then please do. Don’t leave it to others.

Please see below a number of links which will give you some guidance on volunteering.

We are also interested in younger volunteers, current players who are interested in using their experience to get on the first steps of the coaching ladder.

Volunteer Roles

All new volunteers who are likely to be working with children will be required to have an enhanced CRB, the club will take care of this for you through the RFU. It’s also recommended that all volunteers working with children attend a child welfare and first aid course which the club can arrange for you.

Above all please remember, without volunteers the club simply could not function so please be prepared to do what you can to help!

Finally our utmost thanks goes out to our army of volunteers and unsung heros who help run our club each season – If you are interested in volunteering please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator here!!
