How to run and export their Team Reports?
- Log in to GMS as usual
- Select the Team Management tile
- Select Teams (left side menu bar)
- Select the required Team in the main pane
- Use the More / Export option above the column headers (top right)
- Column Membership Status has these values:
- Pending: Order is set up but not paid in GMS (either in full or via monthly DD)
- Active: Order is set up and paid in GMS (either in full or via monthly DD)
- Blank: Order is not set up
- For minis and youths teams:
- Players only appear if they are registered as players.
- There is no circumventing that
- For adult teams:
- By default all, all registered seniors players appear as “eligible” in all seniors teams, and all registered women players appear as “eligible” in all women teams.
- Registered players can however be manually assigned to specific teams as follows:
- Select the required team.
- Select the required player
- Select the “Assign to Team” button top right.
- This does not remove them as “eligible” for the other teams.
- Members can be manually added to teams as non-registered players as follows:
- Select the required team.
- Select the “Add Player” button.
- To remove a player from a team:
- Select the required team
- Select the required player
- Select the Remove button top right.
- Non-registered players get removed.
- Registers remain as “eligible”.
- Related export columns to note are:
- Registered: Which will have values of “Registered Player” or “Non Registered Player”.
- Role: Which will have values of “Registered Player Adult (Men)”, “Registered Player Adult (Women)” or “Non Registered Player”.
- Info: Which will have values of “Registered Player” or “Non Registered Player”.
How to confirm if a player is paid up?
- Refer to column Membership Status in the Team Report above.
What to do if a minis/youth player is not showing up on their Team Report
- Either their DoB is incorrect (so they are showing up in the wrong age group) and needs to be corrected via a player registrar, or
- They are not registered as players.
- Parents should be able to register their children as players online within GMS direct.
- If however that is proving too problematic then parents may temporarily revert to the paper RFU Registration Form which you should collect and validate and pass to the minis/youths player registrars to process.
- From a GDPR perspective the intention is to phase paper forms out ASAP.
