Another fantastic day for Medway RFC Girls section, this late in the season, we are still putting out four full squads (and subs) at U12, U14, U16 and U18.
Our U12s were in action in a tournament in some wet and boggy conditions, they played some of their best rugby of the season with some very proud coaches and parents. Won 2, drew 1 and lost 1.
Our U14 played against a TJs/Cranbrook combined team, and enjoyed a stunning 27 - 14 victory. The team were especially proud as they had lost to that team earlier in the season.
Our U16 saw action in the Kent Cup quarter final, playing the Crimson Roses in south east London. The Medway girls took the game 27-15 and progress to the cup semi final.
Our U18s travelled down to the south coast to play Worthing in a much needed 15 a-side game. Worthing took an early lead with two tries, Medway fought back and it was try for try for the rest of the game with 10 tries scored between the two teams. Worthing ended up taking the win 32-22 in a thoroughly enjoyable game.
An amazing Sunday for our Mighty Medway Girls, depth and strength across the section.
