As the first quarter drew to a close, ABC capitalized on some missed tackles to score a powerful try, though they missed the conversion. The score was tight, and the tension was palpable.
In the second quarter, Medway came back with a vengeance. Amelia Massey spotted a gap in the defence and slid over the try line, bringing the score to 12-5. The Medway supporters were on their feet, cheering!
However, ABC wasn’t done yet. They took advantage of more missed tackles to score two tries, turning the tables and leading 12-17 at halftime. The match was heating up, and everyone knew the second half would be just as thrilling!
With the second half underway, scores remained the same until the 3rd quarter when Medway let more tackles go amiss and ABC scored in the corner, making it 12-22.
