We are a highly inclusive group, and believe strongly that the game of rugby is a ‘game for all. We work to the tradition values outlined by the RFU, and pride ourselves to deliver them to every child. If you like to know more of what we do for inclusion and diversity, please do not hesitate to contact myself or Tee Nixon, Team Manager.
Our coaching set up reflects the development needs of every child in our group. I have the great honour of having 15 coaches (all willing volunteers) to help our vision to ensure the ‘game is for all’. The number helps the coaching to player ratio, enabling smaller group coaching. Our approach is to coach the necessary skills at the players rate of development, giving the child time to feel comfortable in the environment and develop the skills at his/her pace and preference. Every year since U6s, we have grown in numbers. This is an amazing accolade for the environment and culture we create and live by. Our aim is not just to make better players but to reveal their inner characters and build on their qualities, giving them confidence in other areas of life, making them, and us, better people.
